What Customers Don't Like
Salespeople who ignore them
Poor Service
Having to call the consultant repeatedly because calls are not returned
Excessive delays in receiving product
Surprise charges and hidden fees
A poor selection on display
Salespeople that aren't knowledgeable about their products
Salespeople who are just "order takers"
Salespeople who complain about their company
A salesperson who "talks too much"


What Customers Like
Salespeople who are responsive
Having phone calls returned as soon as possible
Good Service
Consultants who go above and beyond at the party
A good selection of products on display
Clearly defined prices, shipping fees and delivery dates
People that are knowledgeable about product or willing to ask someone who is
Salespeople who ask questions and involve the audience
Salespeople who help them find a solution
Salespeople that make the system work

Selling Tips
Don't sell the product sell the benefits
Show all products in groupings or sets rather than individually
Allow merchandise to be handled, tried on or tested at the party
Ask for the order - "Would you prefer to order all this now or would you prefer to purchase some of your favorites and book a party to earn the rest?"
Always under-promise and over-deliver
